The memory corridors in AC: Unity bother me.  In other games, and even Rogue, they’ve been used to have the targets justify their actions and give them some depth and humanity (AC2 and AC3 did this the best, I think).  In Unity, they’re literally just a collection of random memories used to find your next Templar without any of the justification of what they’re doing.  It’s like they’re saying “Yep, we’re totally bad.  Nonredeemable.  Move on to the next nonredeemable person.  Goodbye forever.”

Well Arno’s eagle vision, or eagle pulse I believe it’s called, is a more crude version of eagle vision. This makes his eagle vision limited and fade over time, which would be much weaker than say Ezio’s eagle vision. Perhaps eagle vision and the memory corridors are connected?

I love how Connor’s fans became no better than Ezio’s fans.

Connor’s fans: Defend him fiercely, and hate anyone who isn’t him.

Ezio’s Fans:  Defend him fiercely, and hate anyone who isn’t him.

C’mon guys.

What about Altair??? No assassin after him would be the assassin they are today without him!

Altair invented the Hidden Gun, and dual hidden blades! Da Vinci just copied him.

And just for the heck of it. Let’s add Aveline in there.

There I said it.

Venite ad me frater.

I love Altaïr but let me just say ALTAÏR DID NOT INVENT THE HIDDEN BLADE. It was first used centuries before his birth by the Assassin Darius, who may or may not have invented the weapon. Altaïr was a revolutionary figure in the Assassin brotherhood and deserves a lot of credit (well the apple does anyway), but he did not invent the hidden blade.

weareassassins72

He was the first one, I believe, that used two at the same time alongside the air assassination, hay bale assassination, and ledge assassination.

1) Just because he was the first to dual weild doesn’t mean he invented the weapon.
2) Those assassination techniques, while important have nothing to do with the invention of the blade.

weareassassins72

I’m not implying that he invented the hidden blade, I’m just saying he might’ve been the first one to use two at the same time. I think that’s what the confession was trying to say, that Altair did use two hidden blades and invented the hidden gun. I don’t believe he tried to say that he invented the hidden blade itself.

I always like to think that the final words that are exchanged is achieved by some first civilization gene possessed by the Assassin or Templar that somehow connects their minds to allow the Assassin/Templar to hear their last thoughts in the few moments they have with them. I mean the games touches on the mind in a way, such as the memories being replayed, and the apple’s control over minds.
